The International Classical Music Awards (ICMA) are among Europe’s most prestigious prizes for classical music. With the support of VP Bank, the awards ceremony will be held in Liechtenstein this year.

The formal awards ceremony will be held as a gala concert in Vaduz on 27 June 2021. It will be hosted by the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra. VP Bank will be the main sponsor, thereby helping to support the best classical musicians in Europe. The Bank is highlighting its long-standing commitment to supporting the world’s most talented musicians in the classical music scene. The financial institution has served as the presenting partner of the VP Bank Classic Festival for five years, and also offers young musicians the opportunity to present their skills and talent at client events.

The chance to bring the International Classical Music Awards ceremony to Liechtenstein has given VP Bank the unique opportunity to hold this prestigious event at the financial institution’s headquarters. Chief Executive Officer Paul Arni emphasises: “Supporting the awards ceremony is very much in line with VP Bank’s long-standing commitment to the arts and the cultural sector. I am pleased to give these first-rate European musicians the recognition they deserve and thus afford them the opportunity to focus even more intensively on their music and talent.”

The winners were announced during a press conference in Vaduz on 20 January 2021. You can find the winners, together with further information about the International Classical Music Awards, on the website.
