VP Bank Foundation —

Serving the public interest

The VP Bank Foundation was initiated in 2006 to mark our 50th anniversary and established in 2007. It encourages projects, institutions and individuals that stand out in the areas of environmental protection, art, education, science and culture. It also helps to fund charitable works and not-for-profit causes. The aim is to support projects that have a link to Liechtenstein and our corporate values.

The VP Bank Foundation is a member of the Association of Liechtenstein Charitable Foundations e.V. and the "SwissFoundations" Association of Swiss Grant-making Foundations. The Foundation's Board of Trustees benefits from this valuable exchange of experience and is committed to developing the Liechtenstein association.

"Lichtblick" campaign

In connection with the annual "Lichtblick" campaign, about 30 social institutions in Liechtenstein receive grants from the Foundation.

"SolidarMed" relief organisation

Each year, a portion of the Foundation's capital is invested in the VP Bank Balanced (CHF) Strategy Fund. The VP Bank Foundation uses the returns to help fund the "SolidarMed" relief organisation.

Applications

Applications must be complete to be considered and must be accompanied at least by the following documents:

• Cover letter describing the key aspects of the project

• Description of the project with project designation, information on the initiators of the project, timetable

• Budget and financing plan, annual report if available

• List of other institutions approached for financing and their responses
